Kevin Coombes: Poetry

I've been writing poetry for a long time. I guess it's characterized primarily by the idea that it's extremely difficult to express things clearly when you're limited by language. Then again, one of my favorite poems is Ars poetica, by Archibald MacLeish, which contains the line

	A poem should not mean
	But be.
If that doesn't deter you from reading them anyway, here's a selection of my own poems. If anybody reads them and cares enough to send me some comments, I could be persuaded to type a few more for placement here.
