Gene Ontology Browser is a piece of computer software which can be used as a tool for exploratory analysis of gene expression microarray data. The development of Gene Ontology Browser was motivated by surging interest to search for interpretable biological structure in gene expression microarray data.
It is an MDI-style Java application. This style is similar to applications like Microsoft Word, allowing multiple documents to be in use simultaneously. Each document contains a tree view of experiment results from microarray data.
The current version is 0.92, available as of 31 October 2003.
