How to add sequences to a working list

If you want to add a sequence file from your working directory

  1. Type a filename or path in the right upper part of the window (field: own sequence files).

    Tip 1: Use wild characters (*, ?) to specify a group of files.
    Tip 2: Type filename with a pathname if you want file(s) from a different directory.

  2. Button Show

  3. Select file(s) out of the Directory Listing.

  4. Button Add elected

 If you want to add sequences from a database

  1. Select a databases in a list (upper left frame).

  2. You might type your finer specification after database name (e.g. SwissProt:aa*)

  3. Button Show

  4. Select one or more items in the list in the right bottom frame.

  5. Button Add elected

 If you want to add sequences from an another list of sequences (List File)
  1. Use the File Browser in the right bottom frame to navigate in your file system. Click onto a directory name to view its contents.

  2. Select a List File.

  3. Button Expand Selected

  4. Select one or more items in the list in the right lower frame.

  5. Button Add selected
